November to March: desert nights that need a jacket, sea that can be swum, mountains without heat-stroke. Most circuits run now.
Destinations
- Muscat — Harbours, incense alleys, and a capital that still faces the sea.
- Dhofar & Salalah — Frankincense country: monsoon hills, empty-quarter edges, and a coast that smells of resin.
- Wahiba Sands — Long red dunes, a night of fire, and a proper Bedouin camp — not a parking lot of tents.
- Musandam — Fjords of the Strait of Hormuz — dhows, dolphins, and villages with no road.
