Height with a purpose Jebel Shams is the roof of Oman. The balcony walk follows an old falaj ledge above a drop that does not need exaggeration. We pair it with Al Hamra’s mudbrick oasis and a night on the rim, not a round trip from Muscat that turns the canyon into a viewpoint stop.
